(Course: CEI-131A)
This is a 1 semester certificate program designed to train entry-level students for
drawing blood in hospitals and doctors' offices.
Students who apply for the Phlebotomy Program must meet the following requirements:
- Completed application
- Official copy of high school transcript or Official GED passing scores
- TABE Test
- ACT score of 16 or higher will be accepted in place of the Test for Adult Basic Education
(TABE) test. ACT test not required for admission.
- Copy of Drivers License
- Social Security Card
- Immunization Record showing:
- MMR
- Hepatitis B series (can be completed after entry to program)
- Varicella or chicken pox shot or titers (can be completed after entry to program)
- 2-step TB skin test
- Flu Vaccine
